*Name: Matt King
Alias/Nickname: Matt, King, (sometimes known as: Spyder)
*Age: 18 (Oct. 22)
*Gender: Male
Sexual Background: Straight
*Occupation: Trainer
*Appearance: Matt stands at about 6'0'' tall. His coal colored hair falls carelessly around his face, down to his shoulders. The seperation in hair giving his ice cold eyes the space they need to gaze. Athletically built, and somewhat muscular, his body looks as if it has always been shaped and formed for a journey of this magnitude. A slight patch of facial hair creeps down the side of his face, in a thin, well-trimmed line, and gathers together at his chin where they accumulate in a cared-for patch. His general attire consists of jean pants, black boots, and a black and red t-shirt reading "Get on Fire". His t-shirt is usually covered by a black and white zip-up hoody. All in all a pretty fair looking individual, but as all things in life he has a flaw. The flaw being the smirk that creeps across his face more than not.
*Personality: Matt isn't what you would call "Friendly". He may not even be what the average person would call "Approachable". His attitude seems to turn more people away, but then again it protects him from getting too close. Generally quiet and off to himself, focused on the general task. When he gets into a battle the attitude flies out the window and confidence radiates off him, almost as if he was a part of a confidence nuclear waste spill. The confidence is usually paired with a unrenowned since of cockiness. Outside of the field, the friends he has know the softer side, but those are very few and far between since his rough exterior generally pushes most people away. His pokemon are generally his only friends, and while he does treat them rough and force them to make themselves power...he and they both will know he is compassionate for them.
*History: Growing up in Celadon City, he was subject to the harshships of living in a bustling city. Many people would dream to live in Celadon...but not Matt. His life was full of deceit, his father walking out at an early age...his mother working two sometimes three jobs. The only comfort he had as a child was the stray Eevee that lived outside his apartments. Generally, day to day, he would deal with the gamblers, bikers, tough guys, and even the occasional rocket members. Unlike many of the Celadon folk, He was not part of a wealthy family, his family did not supply his trainer aids and therefor he was forced to work for what he had. Upon turning 19, he had finally saved up enough money to make the journey away from this despicable place, and thats where he used every bit of his money to head for Minako. The rumor was that this place was a fresh start, and that is exactly what he needed.
