Personality: Alex is a fun-loving and excitable Trainer, with a real loves for two things, the first obviously being Pokémon, and the second being spending time with them. At first he was a tentative battler and did not really like to see his Pokémon get hurt or injured, although a year or so soon ground most of that away as he realized just how tough his Pokémon were, and could eventually be. Alex has devoted long hours to honing his Pokémon and is always willing to go the extra mile for them. Alex treats his Pokémon with a great deal of kindness and respect, and in return they are all loyal to him. Alex sees him Pokémon more as his close family then his weapons or objects and spends a great deal of time seeing to their comfort or safety, or sometimes both, and sometimes puts them above his own. Alex also likes to let his Pokémon enjoy his travels by letting them out of their Poké Balls so that they can have a little fun and enjoy themselves, rather then spend all of their time in a cramped up Poké Ball.
History: Alexander Dark was born in Johto and as a child, like so many others his age, Alex fantasized about becoming a trainer, however Alex’s time with Pokémon started a little earlier then most, since his very first Pokémon was a silver Eevee. The two were good friends and very rarely seen apart, when his 10th birthday came around the corner he was eager to start, choosing his starter Pokémon, Cyndaquil, although his first few Pokémon were a little untrusting of his, he soon earned that trust and soon, between Eevee, the Newly evolved Quilava, a Noctowl and later a Dunsparce, they devastated 5 of the Johoto Gyms.
However, Alex, always the wanderer, actually left Johto before he even had all 8 badges, to this day he isn’t sure why he’s never able to finish a set of 8, he thinks maybe it’s because that would close that chapter of his life and he doesn’t fee like closing that door yet.
Leaving Noctowl and Dunsparce with Professor Elm, Alex then travelled through to Hoenn, where there was much more excitement and adventure , new Pokémon, Alex is as much a Catcher as he is a Trainer and he caught a wide variety of Pokémon during his time in Hoenn, however he only acquired two gym badges because he spent so long catching and looking after his Pokémon.
However whilst there he also learned more then he fought, learning about how to make and use more natural cures and remedies rather then some of the more artificial ones available, this has given Alex a good knowledge of berries and how to cook and use them. His time in Hoenn was cut short when he was called home by his mother, so leaving all but Umbreon and Quilava in his PC, got on the boat home. Just one problem, he accidentally got on the wrong boat, so instead of going home to Johto, he was sent on to Sinnoh, not exactly the perfect excuse to tell ones mother over the phone.
Alex however stayed in Sinnoh for some time, although he did try out for a few badges, like his other previous attempts, he stopped after just there, focusing again upon catching and caring for Pokémon rather then fighting with them, Alex found Sinnoh abundant with cool Pokémon and new berries, so he went on a bit of a spree, overall he spent about 2 years in Sinnoh, training, talking and camping, before finally returning home for his 14th birthday, a little worse for wear, but happy to say the least.
Whilst he was at home he began hearing rumors about the Minako Region, so after about a month of training, and listening to the rumors, he packed his bag and set off again, now he’s looking forward to all of the adventures he’ll have … if he can find the right boat.
Other/Misc: Alex has always enjoyed travelling, going new places, seeing new sites and meeting new people, despite his sometimes shy disposition he enjoys conversation and likes a nice argument every now and again. Strangely enough, Alex never seems to carry a full Party, normally taking just 3 or 4 Pokémon with him and then chopping and changing between them at Pokémon centers, although he will always use a full 6 for Pokémon battles if he can. Alex is also very protective of all Pokémon and doesn’t like people who mistreat them at all and is very willing to fight to prove that point, despite his distinct need of not really wanting to fight all the time.

Alex looked up at the Moon, that seemed to be the one thing that never changed, in all his travels the moon had always looked the same, that giant white orb hanging in the sky.
There was a gentle blue glow from beside him, Alex knew what it was, he laid one hand on its black back as the glow intensified slightly, stroking it gently, they had been together what felt like an age, the moonlight Pokémon lifted its head slightly, looking at him, its head tilted slightly to one side, with its yellow eyes filled with a note of curiosity.
“Breon?”
Alex gave the Pokémon a small smile, before leaning back against the tree, feeling its rough surface behind him.
“It sure has been a long time, hasn’t it Umbreon?” he said, a hint of regret sliding itself him as the Pokémon nodded, before settling down again, leaning its head on its paws, gazing up at the moon.
They had had a lot of fun times together, although they enjoyed these moonlight moments the best, just quiet contemplation between Trainer and Pokémon, and a little bit of relationship-building, it helped them both get along so much better.
