Name: Fred Heights
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Occupation: Trainer
Appearance:
Fred Heights is a lean young man with somewhat tan skin for spending much of his time outdoors. His hair is short and black, his eyes a very dark brown. His mouth is usually fixed in an almost straight, somewhat smiling expression. He is rarely seen without his top hat and bow-tie, each slightly cocked to one side. As for standard attire, he wears a black suit, dress pants, and dress shoes as if every place he goes is a formal party. He absolutely hates it when something gets on his suit, and for this he keeps it well-ironed, spotless, and in excellent condition.
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 130 lbs
Personality: Heights is a man of few words. He almost never talks unless he has to, for example when issuing orders to his Pokemon. Usually, he lets his facial expression convey his mood, and even then, he limits it to his eyelids and eyebrows. For some odd reason, his stare is very persuasive and intimidating: his unchanging smile, even in stress or anger, along with the glare from his dark eyes, come together in such a way as to play with the mind. Most people get very uncomfortable looking into his eyes for more than ten seconds. He is very proud of this "ability", and uses it whenever he gets into a pinch. Finally, he prefers to be referred to either by his full name or his last name alone.
History: Heights was born in the large town of Saffron City in Kanto to a comfortably wealthy mother and father. As a child, he used to get most of what he wanted using his odd stare. At the store, he would point to an item he wanted, usually a toy or knickknack for decorating his room, and when his parents refused to buy it, he looked them straight in the eye. A few seconds of this and the parent in question would wordlessly buy the item.
His parents had high-paying occupations: his father was a corporate executive of Silph Co. and his mother was in real estate. As a result, not only did his parents not find much time for their son, but they also found little time for each other as well. Everyone typically stayed in their own section of the mansion and took care of themselves.
Being an only child, and having such rich and busy parents, he seldom had anyone to talk to, so out of habit he rarely talks aloud. After watching a TV program about Pokemon battling, he silently packed an extra suit, hat, and bow-tie and left without saying a word. His mother and father never questioned, or even noticed, his disappearance. He bought a boat ticket using some of his allowance (which was a decent amount, but due to his parents' negligence, not a whole lot) and traveled to Minako to start a Pokemon quest of his own. Maybe then he could make friends and live an exciting life. Maybe then he could find an excuse to speak...
Other/Misc: If it would be considered godmodding, we can tone down his epic stare to just creepy or uncomfortable if you want.
