This is Lily Rose's other account. Name: Chantal Canning Age: Twenty - March 29 Gender: Female Occupation: Professor Assistant
Appearance:
She's about five foot six in height and weighs one hundred thirty-three pounds. All her clothes are baggy and have plenty of pockets for her to rest her hands in at any given time. Contrasting her personality, her clothing is brightly coloured and has plenty of complex designs. Personality:
Chantal has a horrible case of the sin: sloth. Everything she does reflects how lazy and uncaring she is towards events and most individuals around her. The only ones she shows affection to is her own pokemon that she has known for many, many years. She likes to take the easy way out of everything and cannot be bothered to enter pokemon gyms or try to 'catch them all'. Her lack of motivation can make people question whether she does have goals for herself in life. History:
At the age of five Chantal received a Magikarp from any angry fisher. He ranted about how he could only catch those 'useless fish' and didn't want to keep him. So he gave the pokemon to the young girl without hesitation, and viewed it as the easiest way to get rid of him. Despite her usual uncaring attitude, Chantal was thrilled! She never bothered to train her Magikarp, but instead hung out with him everyday while he was in her backyard pond. Even in those instances few words were shared because that would just take too much energy on her part, so they sat in comfortable silence with each other.
When she became of age to go on her pokemon journey, Chantal was literally kicked out of her house. Her family wasn't trying to get rid of her, they just wanted her to find an adventure! So she left with Magikarp with little enthusiasm. She only battled other trainers if they were nearby a water source and if they were really, really persistent. Battling just wasn't her favorite pastime.
Later, she found an injured Seviper and tended to its wounds. It would have been cruel to let the poor thing lay there without any type of aid. Once Chantal figured the pokemon was well enough to go back into the wild on its own, she abandoned him where he lay sleeping. It took her a couple of days to figure out that the pokemon was following her. No matter how much she protested and told the Seviper she didn't want him to bother her anymore, he kept coming. So she finally just shoved him in a pokeball and continued on her long walk.
Now whenever she battled, she'd usually use Seviper because it was much easier to do that than find a water source for Magikarp to take the spotlight. Her fish got really jealous, and in its torrent of emotions that it expressed to her the next time they just sat around a water source, he evolved. Ever since then Chantal used them equally whenever she absolutely had to, and her Gyarados no longer needed a water source. It was just more comfortable if he had one. The two pokemon never saw eye to eye ever since.
Later on they walked into an Onix within a cave. That pokemon just wouldn't get out of their way and Chantal was definitely not going to take the long way around. So she battled the pokemon, won and caught it. She figured that leaving it there with injuries wouldn't be a very nice thing to do. Then that overly emotional Onix was whining about not evolving. Getting tired of her pokemon's dramatic displays, Chantal bought the specific item to help him evolve into Steelix. Seeing as how her three pokemon were such a handful, she promised herself never to catch another one. Dealing with three of them was hard enough as it was.
To other trainers it was very confusing as to why Chantal walked past the gyms instead of challenging the leader inside. Her reason for this was because it'd take too much energy and she never promised anyone she'd become a Pokemon Master. So all her travels finally lead her to a new region: Minako. Along the way she found a notice saying that the Professor here was in need of assistance. It'd be a full time job. The job looked easy and it was an excuse for her to stop walking around so much. So the woman decided she was going to pay this lady a visit.
